In this technological climate there is an abundance of accessible and free tools a business owner can use to grow their business. In this workshop, Dan Chapin will explore many free applications available for businesses on their mobile tablet whether it is an IPad, Samsung Galaxy, Microsoft Surface, Amazon Fire, etc.
Topics will include:
- Cloud 101: What it is, where is it, how to use it.
- Document management through cloud based services.
- Everyday note taking applications
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) through Insightly.
- Email marketing and communication applications.
- Free resources to build your own website and social media tools
- Accounting applications for only $9.99 a month
Attendees are encouraged to bring their tablet but not required.

Dan Chapin, a California native, began his career as an Information Systems and Business Analyst in the wine business with Robert Mondavi Winery and Allied Domecq Wine & Spirits USA. After 5 years working on the supply side of the wine industry, Dan joined several start-up ventures in the wine business technology space including Inertia Beverage Group (Wine Direct), Artisan Media, and Vintegrate Winery Software. His most recent endeavors include the launch of Left Coast Marketing & Wine Country Lifestyle Magazine working with a creative team to provide Digital Marketing, Design & Print, Photography, & Custom Publishing services with over 75 clients on the "Left Coast" and beyond.
