Dance to lively, energetic African music.This last marimba cafe of the winter showcases our community of talented marimba players and musicians from age 8 – 80, as well as highlighting the final show for Sarungano before they leave for Zimbabwe on April 17.http://www.southwhidbeyrecord.com/community/295917711.htmlRubatano Center Groups, Moyo, Shamwari, Mweya, Nyeredzi, and Chitsuwo will have you dancing right away starting at 6:30 pm. Sarungano & Friends will take the stage at 9 pm.This event is hosted by Rubatano Center and Sarungano. Proceeds will benefit the Matanho Project, a nonprofit organization, continuing it’s cross cultural exchange with Zimbabwe. With the efforts from our community and local musicians, we plan to donate instruments to Zimbabwean schoolchildren.
